THE COMMUNICATIVE APPROACH IN MAKING AN EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE TEACHERS AND THE STUDENTS IN ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASS

Introduction Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) refers to teaching English to students whose first language is not English. TEFL usually occurs in the student's own country, either within the state school system, or privately, e.g., in an after-hours language school or with a tutor . TEFL teachers may be native or non-native speakers of English. Because the learners or the students are not the native speakers of English, the misinformation often occurs in the EFL class itself. But even though those things happen a lot, the students often don’t feel eager to ask the teacher for the further explanation. Hari ini baru saja menyelesaikan membaca novel terberat yang pernah saya baca. Bukan karena gaya bahasa, bukan karena kosakata, tetapi jalan cerita yang terlalu menyakitkan. Novel karya Leila S. Chudori yang sedang viral ini dan akan di film kan, sukses membuat saya menghabiskan waktu dua bulan lebih untuk membereskan membaca sampai di halaman terakhir.
